I Shared on my IG page last week, that one of the reasons I really did love reading at an early age where the ambiguous words that I had to learn from picking a book. I used it back then on those who offended me and trust me they picked offense because most of those words were unknown to them at that time.
I’ve known the word Re-nais-sance for a while now but it was a vague not so clear definition, so I decided to pick up my dictionary and understand what it stood for, so here we go...
RENAISSANCE: A NOUN
The activity, spirit, or time of the great revival of art, literature, and learning in Europe beginning in the 14th century and extending to the 17th century, marks the transition from the medieval to the modern world.
The forms and treatments in art used during this period. (sometimes lowercase) any similar revival in the world of art and learning. (lowercase) a renewal of life, vigor, interest, etc.; rebirth; revival:
a moral renaissance.
I also decided to dress in line with when this word was curated, which was around 1870's....
What word has been a fancy for you lately???
