Sometimes I just decide to do a creative shot inside the house, with this glasses I got from aliexpress and would do a review on the blog on how to shop from aliexpress..

Hello everyone, today I'm doing my new items I recently added to the wardrobe from Jumia
New Look Wide Rib Funnel Neck Midi Dress - Khaki
I've not had a khaki colored gown before and it was on my list of items to buy, got this gorgeous dress in stretchy cotton for N4,895 from New Look HERE

Wearing a floral outfit can be limited to some colors like black, or the dominant color on the floral print to give it an edgy look. so today I decided to restyle my swing gown gotten from Jumia which I styled HERE and my Choies Skirt worn HERE

This photo in no way belongs to me or was it captured by me.. just an Inspiration for an outfit

I would apologize in advance for not doing a demo for this product, but this is my current favorite hair shampoo and it goes for N500. After sitting in my wardrobe for four months, I needed to give my weave some hair wash and it came in handy, the scent that it produced was just amazing.. also note that you need a good hair conditioner to prevent tangling I use my Olive Leave-in conditioner blogged HERE This review was in no way sponsored, just a personal observation, I felt to share

apologizing for the little exposure, sometimes you just have to let go appropriately and enjoy the moment

When I started blogging which was in 2011, it was important that I blogged about native prints (Ankara) it gave me so much joy doing it, as I felt I was representing our culture through fashion in a beautiful light, over time I've drifted, but from time to time when I can I shed light on the beautiful nature of the Ankara and today is one of them.... wearing a gown I made by myself with a shoe from primark  Thanks for the comments below...xoxo..
Proverbs 5:21 For your ways are in full viewof theLord, and he examines all your paths

Though its been long, I did my series Breakfast thoughts, this is a bit in line with it. firstly the Word Besty(informal), in this term means (Best Friend). My best friend Ehi, who doesn't stay close to abode have been around for a while and we decided to visit an Eatery Drumsticks Wuse 2, to be exact... To be honest they had the best consumer service and meals to go with it.. didn't take enough pictures and now thinking of it, I feel I'm not giving you a clear detail, but however we had a few to eat and something to drink, and I'm glad she had fun..  P.S she loves vintage like me.. whats that adage they say about birds of the same feather?

Finding a one piece outfit that fits, does not happen overtime and when it does its almost magical. This months theme as part of the blogger collaboration with dee-vineanonymewas to style a one piece outfit and I opted for this colorful jumpsuit, most of the pictures taken with my camera didn't turn out too well to me, although they looked alright at first, so I decided to merge them with my phone snaps.. for those in Nigeria, its been holidays with rain, which just makes everything beautiful... how was the holiday? thinking of how works resumes tomorrow and praying for strength..

Hey Everyone, this look is a flashback to a picture that didn't make it to the post, and I decided to share today. Reason being that the weather has not been too friendly and I decided to do a more classy look wearing Ankara, not so many people realize that lately with trends coming up, the ankara isn't left out in materials you can create fun looks with, so I paired mine with a stripped top and what do you think? The skirt was made by me, in one of my lazy days DIY, shoes are Bamboo, Glasses, Tomford, Hat: aliexpress

Firstly I want to put this out that I am not one of those who reads a lot because Ecclesiastes 12:12 NLT "But, my child, let me give you some further advice: Be careful, for writing books is endless, and much study wears you out" But its important that as youths in this age of constant distraction in social media, TV and the rest of the world that we withdraw and read, we should invest in buying books, i remember growing up to a sticker in my room that read "reading is refreshing" and that has been such a huge inspiration even now that i'm all grown up. Truth is reading gives you an edge and knowledge is beautiful, more priced than anything, plus its part of what Gods instructions are in the bible. 1Timothy 4:13a says "Until I come, apply yourself to reading, to exhortation to teaching.. I really hope that you pick a book this week and even though it takes you forever to finish, its a start up point to the precious end.. xoxo

Hello fam, the thing I enjoy about blogging is that its never that serious, I mean especially for me, I really don't want to be overbearing about it and just have fun along the way. Todays photos are less static, I would wear this outfit to the movies, to shop or any other fun stuff, because its so laid back. In Nigeria when I see people walk into the movie theatre wearing heels, my first expression is like you're not on a runway or a red carpet but what do I know right?so what event do you think is appropriate for an outfit like this? and I remember the days when my blog pictures was restricted to this front door, thank God for friends who have time now to take my photos.. by the way hope your week is going on well, my prayers are with you all.. I'm wearing a boho-chic look which is from a thrift vintage store while the white top is from Forever21 and dazzling in an indian pose :D

Jumia on Monday started its clearance which will be ending on the 26th, and has about 80% off fashion and beauty items.  So to make things a bit easy for my readers I've decided to give few items I would love to purchase off the clearance  My style most times comprises of retro pieces and outfits that can play multiple roles and this Akoz Boat Dress Tunic print dress does it for me, formerly N 5,995 now N3,895

I remember seeing a fellow Blogger Mide on this last year and I thought it was total cool and funky, the Art of Glitz Gold Triangle Bangle, Formerly Sold at N2,295 is now N995, this is a major steal..

Hello Everyone, we are in summer season, and that means we get to just go comfortable on our outfits while looking playful. The MISSI long sleeve round neck swing dress, my first feel of the material was just amazing,  and s0 I decided to pair it with my DOLSIS PATENT MOCASSIN FRINGE FLAT you can see post also onWE LOVE STYLE

To be honest, I feel like this is long overdue. My makeup routine isn't an everyday lifestyle, to be honest people who have met me individually would admit to you that I don't have all this glam look on most of the time, but in situations when I do it goes down like this, would write below each picture the steps taken ..and would list the prices of each item at the end of the post  get a brow brush, brush off your brows to set, but before that you may want to get something to shed off extra hair hanging off then draw your brow shape

Colors just have a way of reducing us to kids, and since i'm petite I avoid it like a plague, but when its unavoidable in situations like this, I play it down.. I was so lazy to edit this pictures, but what do you all think about it?

I woke up on a fateful Sunday in the month of June to see my face full of itchy, painful, red sores which was really unexpected, didn't make it to church and the first two days at work, was veiled in questions as to what was wrong with me. I was tired and I needed solutions as fast as possible. You know the cliche saying of sharing a problem with a friend means its half solved worked. A special friend of mine recommended this Forever Bee Honey, and I also went ahead to get the RDI Avocado Extract and an Aloe Vera Wet wipes to augment and within four days my face had cleared up.. It was so shocking I promised myself to blog about it. the first two days of the break out saw me using a cream which made the situation worse.. I honestly didn't love myself.. it was such a shame.. so I advise that when in situations such as this do not be in a haste to use products that might be harmful to your skin cos although it worked for a day the day after was just a horrible experience, most …

Hello Everyone, I must apologize for my absence, which hasn't been intentional, as it is my schedule lately has been crazy, and to be honest complaining about it would not change anything. Living in Nigeria where internet service is pure gold, you would also understand that it contributed to my lack of post, being a blogger in Nigeria isn't such an easy task as people presume, but its what we love and we have to do it well. Todays outfit is almost a continuing series of me and my boss chic look, don't know if that statement is correct in any way, however as much as fitted clothes aren't so my style, I like the confidence it gives to the woman who wears it well.. and when you find one that does, its almost an unbroken bond and this nude colored dress does it for me, I paid it with my current shoe obsession gotten from has everyone been and thanks for the constant support, I really appreciate..xoxo

Like every profession, blogging has its few tricks you need to know before you venture into it, I started my journey about four years ago about my final year in the university and I wasn't so consistent as I was now because as much as I loved what I was doing, I had to learn a few tricks before I got to the point I am now.

so I'll share a few tips on what you need to know before you start a blog of your own.

Have an Idea on What your Blog would be about:
Do you want to talk about fashion, food, inspirational post.. this is the basis of a successful blog before you land in deep waters half way

Have a means to blog: Laptop, Phone etc.
You need a means of communication, I do advise

Create time:
I find people in professional courses like Medicine less prone to having a blog, but hey I know a blogger Cassie Daves who does an amazing job mixing both.

Have a Blog you can use as an example:
you have to have a blog model,
