One favourite part of the Bible to me that never looses its humour and its ability to reveal life in its practical way, has to be the book of ecclesiastes
so I want to share what I came across today..

ECC 7:23-29

"I tested everything in my search for wisdom, I set out to be wise, but it was beyond me, far beyond me, and deep, so deep! does anyone ever find it? I concentrated with all my might, studying and exploring and seeking wisdom, the meaning of life. I also wanted to identify evil and stupidity, foolishness and craziness.

one discovery: A woman can be a bitter pill to swallow, full of seductive scheming and grasping. the lucky escape her, the undiscerning get caught.

At least that is my experience. what I, the Quester, have pieced together as I've tried to make sense of life. But the wisdom I've looked for I haven't found.

I didn't find one man or woman in a thousand worth my while. yet I did spot one ray of light i  this murk:(noun: darkness or thick mist that makes it difficult to see.)

God made men and women true and upright: we're the ones who've made a mess of things

there's nothing better than being wise, knowing how to interpret the meaning of life. wisdom puts light in the eyes. and gives gentleness to words and manners!

I do hope you enjoyed todays soul food! the Bible is complete and his word always remains true to itself! find a bible you can relate with and reading the word would get easy

Going through Matthew 18 vs 1-10
and yes this story has never had more meaning "at about the same time, the disciples came to jesus asking, who gets the highest rank in God's Kingdom?

For an answer Jesus called over a child, whom he stood in the middle of the room, and said, “I’m telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you’re not even going to get a look at the Kingdom, let alone get in.

we can all say that growing up as Kids life was never too complicated, no so much emotion of hate and  sinful thoughts going through our minds we were little angels, and the bible tries to make us understand that to make it to heaven, we would have to go back to our sweet childlike hearts, only then will we see God

putting up this post also made me realise that i'm also in a rope, my heart has to be clear of so many things, especially forgiveness and letting go of all the hurt, I feel deep inside... thanks for the comments on the last post..

When you decide to go public with your beliefs and values, expect to be actively observed by friends, family, and acquaintances. Seriously! From that point onward people you know and love; even those you don’t know so well will be waiting in the alleyway of your life for you to do or say something ‘un-christian like’. It’s one of the most fascinating consequences of outward faith in my opinion. It’s innate in all of us to explore the fault within a person and hold it against them once it surfaces; thats the honest truth. Passing judgement is far easier than acceptance. Im not perfect, so if you are waiting for me to do something that isn’t necessarily Christ-like what i’ll say to you today is wait for it. Professing that you are a christian doesn’t mean you will instantly achieve perfection. In actuality, it’s a proclamation that you are beyond imperfect. The most carnal of carnal. It stresses that you have realized that you are capable of some really messed up thoughts and actions and that you need help that no person can provide you with.

Christians will sin, Christians will get angry, Christians will judge and I know all these things because in Romans 3:23 it reads:
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
The distinction here is that someone who is striving for Christ-likeness will not allow those things to characterize them. Rather, the sin will convict and ignite change. So again, to the people who may be waiting in the hallway of a believer’s life for that moment to “call them out” – Wait for it! I’m not perfect, you’re not perfect; but God still loves us and we have this hope to carry into each day. As these days progress his grace is sufficient enough for us, and for that I owe my life and everything in it.
In Isaiah 40:28-31 we are able to get a clear picture of our dependence on God, and what the relationship between a believer and their father portrays. It stresses the imperfection of our composition and how in our shortcomings Christ doesn’t regard us as failures or hypocrites. When we fall he extends his faithful hand and gives us the tools to try again. The scripture in Isaiah reads:
Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.
Im not perfect. God see’s the filthy hollows of my heart and loves me regardless. I’m a sinner, and I  don’t proclaim this to be downcast and condemned; rather, to be reminded of the price that was paid for me to have a chance. You don't have to be perfect to come to know the saving grace of Christ.Im not perfect, but God wanted me just the way I was; and that goes for anyone. The realisation of his love molded me. If I waited until I was ‘good enough’ I would have never made the decision to believe.  Day by day I am learning to run and not tire out as it says in the scripture. I’m a Christian and i’m nowhere near perfect – But God still loves me.

thinking of why I chose these headlines, well its simple, had this amazing skirt gifted to me by such a beautiful heart Sandra, such a beautiful color with a tartan pattern over a plaid leather mix

one of the challenging aspects of blogging, is actually getting to put words up and express yourself through your outfit and also sharing some personal ideas you think should be made known, so I am promising to work on building my writing skill to make the blog more interactive

Sometimes being a blogger means sticking out like a big, sore thumb. sometimes not in the literal sense of the word. prior to my last post, I had informed y'all about my choice to only put up better quality pictures this year, well I went on a revamp, that meant no more poor quality pictures cos you might have a great outfit that isn't transcended using phone cameras so I went on a tech savy spree..

well its said that what is worth doing is worth doing well, so I got myself a Nikon CoolPix L320 this is really good for beginners who would rather just read up a manual and start up a pro work... thanks for the love on the page. plus in my spare time, I go round looking for other bloggers who inspire me check out www.couturingblog.com she is cute and amazing

Hello Fam, I know its been hazy around here, first off Happy new year, 2013 was amazing and when I officially start off posting pictures of myself i'll try to do a little review, I am sorry for my lack of post, I wanted to change my template (which has taken effect already), to start on a new, better slate this year.

not posting any pictures yet cos my birthday is coming up and I want a first me post. to start off with something special..

this year started with a campaign and style challenge from Mod Cloth vintage store,  I was contacted to join its campaign and put my piece of items selected from its store and here is what I came up with..

link to Mod Cloth vintage store here

this piece was put together, for a chick yet classy look, its also work and lunch appropriate

for some of us we never want to be caught off guard while looking simple yet sophisticated, this is something I would definitely see myself wear, more work appropriate with less accessories coming to play.

its the color block age and some people are more bent on having different shades of colors on, well the secret is to try and keep it classy, with everything downplayed the watch as an accessory definitely gives the outfit its sparkle

playing it safe here, some people would rather stick to the safe side and and match in all their colors well in doing so just try to be no so much of a particular color that era is gone..

thanks for all the comments last year and the messages I appreciate every one of them, try and subscribe, for daily weekly feeds
