Lagos still has the Childhood memories we loved about Nigeria Tweet That

I was in lagos for a few weeks, and this time I had a nice time. wondering why I said this time? my first few visits to Lagos wasn't so exciting  (woes of an Abuja babe) and I always went back embittered, sad and depressed, such a bummer for a big city that people are on an average excited about seeing as there aren't any dull moments...

This week marked the beginning of a long month celebrating women. I can't tell you how exciting it is to be a woman in these times, where the voice of a woman isn't shriveled (insignificant), not like things have totally gotten better and we don't have same issues we've clamoured to change, but now people are bold enough to voice out their fears, break free from issues not favorable to them and also conquer in places, which men have used as their bane for so long, see what this Parliamentarian had to say about women HERE .

"Cheers to women who have faced their fears and still standing tall"-Tweet This

Just before the big day Wall Street had this statue in front of a big bull see full story HERE I can't tell you how the feeling was, but it felt like candy to the soul. I for one who has such a delicate attitude and small frame, that meant a lot, I could see myself looking (defiantly) in that little girl and that bull and knowing that, nothing is impossible.
So today, I celebrate women who have defied all odds to stand in their place and make their marks, in industries, both formal and informal most especially to my fellow female bloggers who are winning and making off a living out of this: here are a few BLESSING  DEE MAKO CASSIE CARCHEEY PRINCESS AUDU TUKE MORGAN  MARYAM and a bunch of others doing great things

Lately it's been a struggle penning blog post most especially with the light situation in Nigeria, but we still pushing

So this topic idea came from a Cassie Daves's blog planner that I reviewed here y'all have to get it to help grow your blogs so many gems in there.

With the current situation of things it's really difficult to appreciate little things around us so today I'll be sharing 5 things I'm happy about

1) safety: the rate at which people have been missing lately, calls for prayers and gratefulness whenever you wake to know you're where you want to be.

2) Job security: Although mine may not be a fancy paying one, a lot of people would give an arm or foot to be employed somewhere, considering I'm not part of the regular statistics.
